SERVICE IN THE ABBEY By Cabli?.—Press Association—Copyright Received April 12, 0.40 p.m. / London, April 11. An Anzac Day service will be held on Easter Tuesday morning. Two thousand Australians and New Zealanders will march through London from Water, 100, Fenehurch Street, and other railway termini, and there will probably be a parade :tt the Horse Guards. The High Commissioners are issuing tickets to Anglo-Australians, who Will fill the ' rest of Westminster Abbey, where there will be a Simple impressive memorial service, arranged to last half an hour, and no sermon. WHAT SYDNEY IS DOING. ' A WORTHY SCHEME. •' < I Received April 12, 9.40 p.m. Sydney, April 12. Great preparations are being made for Anzac Day. Mr. Holman, as president of the executive, appeals for subscriptions towards the £IOO,OOO required for erecting an Anzac Memorial Buildiijg, which is intended for a permanent home for the men who have fought and bled in the great struggle for human liberty. He hoped to have £30,000 in hand on the morning of Anzac Day, and to raise the balance by the day's subscriptions. The afternoon and evening will be devoted to a gigantic recruiting effort, whereby it is hoped to add Ave thousand men to the Expeditionary Eorces.
