WELLINGTON AUTUMN MEETING, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 8, The concluding day of the Wellington Racing Club's autumn meeting was held in cold and showery weather. The attendance was fair. The totalisator registered £40,741 10s, a total for the meeting of £71,425, as against £73,009 10s last year. Results : SECOND JUMPERS' FLAT.-l Vladian, 1; 1 Harbor Light, 2; 4 Hurakia, 3. All started. Won easily by two lengths. Time, 2.31. HUTT HANDICAP.-6 Hygia, If i Taringamutu, 2; 3 Want, 3. All started. Roumania led into the straight, where .Hygia came through and won by one and a half lengths, a head between second and third horses. Time, 1.43 2-5. MURITAI HANDICAP.—3 Heel-Tap, 1; 1 Sea Down, 2; 2 Cleft, 3. Scratched: Ballyhar. Won comfortably. Time, 1.33 3-5. ' AUTUMN HANDICAP.—O Adjutant, 1; 1 Montana, 2; 4 Red Ribbon. 3. All started. Red Ribbon was first into the straight with Montana close up. In the run home, Adjutant headed the field and won by a length, necks separating the others. Time, 2.27. PACIFIC HANDICAP.—2 Cease Fire, 1; 3 Bjorneborg, 2; 1 Hyllus, 3. All started.' Petrnchio was left at the post post. Cease Fire was soon in front and won from end to end by a length, Hyllus a neck off. Time, 1.16. TRENTHAM GOLD CUP.-l Eligible, 1; 2 Balboa, 2; 3 Indigo, 3. The only starters. Won <oy two lengths, Indigo seven lengths away. Time, 3.25. SUBURBAN HANDICAP. —5 Battle Eve, 1; 3 Hyginas, 2; 1 Astor, 3. All started. Sea Lord led into the straight and then Battle Eve came through -and won by a length, necks between second and third. Time, 1.15. BELMONT HANDICAP.—I Ohiwai, 1; 5 Lady Bla'ck, 2; 4 Comment, 3. Scratched: Sea Down, Heel-Tap, Shrill, and Anzac. Won comfortably. Time, 1.15 3-5.
