CASES IN CANTERBUfiY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christckurch, April 8. Three more eases are reported frem South Canterbury. Altogether thirty cases have been reported in Canterbury and Westland, nine in North Canterbury and twenty-one in South Canterbury. There have been four deaths altogether. AN AWAKINO CASE. The death occurred at the New Plymouth hospital of a young lad named John Condon, aged 18,, the youngest son of Mr. A. H. Condon, of Awakino. The lad was brought to -the hospital on Thursday evening suffering from infantile paralysis and died on Saturday. He was a very bright youth, and much sympathy will be felt for his parents and family. The body will be removed to Mokau for intement.
