DANISH STEAMER SUNK. A DUTCH "YARN." Rcecived April 9, 5.5 p.m Copenhagen, April 8. The Danish steamer St. .Terneborg was torpedoed and sunk outside Gagliari. TJic crew were saved. Reecived April 8, 5.5 p.m. London, April 8. The Admiralty denies as a sheer invention the story of a Dutch skipper, that was published in Dutch newspapers, that he saw captured German submarines in the Thames under command of British officers. THREE VESSELS SUNK. NUMBER OF LIVES LOST. London, April 7. Lloyds report that the 'Peninsula and Simla liave 'been sunk in the Mediterranean. The steamer Vesuvia, bound from the Mediterranean to London, has been torpedoed in the Channel. The captain and five of the crew perished and three others were injured. Lloyds report that eleven of the Simla's crew were drowned and the remainder saved.

SWEDISH VESSEL SEIZED. Copenhagen, April 7. A German torpedo-boat captured the Swedish steamer Vega, bound from Stockholm to Copenhagen. Sweden has demanded her release. PIRACY CONTINUED. Received April 9, 11 p.m. London, April 9. The steamer Braunton has been blown up, The crew were saved. The steamer Chantala has been sunk, and nine firemen were killed. AUTRIAN TRANSPORT SUNK. Received April 9, 11 p.m. Paris, April 9. It is reported that a French submarine sank an Austrian transport in the Adriatic.
