Six rinks of New Plymouth bowlers visited Hawera yesterday, and after a very keenly contested game defeated Hawera by 122 to 118. The visitors were most hospitably treated, and at the close of play, Mr. Parkinson expressed the pleasure felt by the Hawera bowlers at the visit, Mr. Morey suitably returned thanks.
