YESTERDAY'S PROCEEDINGSBy Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Argument was continued to-day in the case, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, of-Magner v. Johns, before the Appeal Court, and judgment was reserved. The Court then took the case between the New Zealand University and the Standard Insurance Company, affecting liability under a fidelity policy for loss incurred by the malversations of Barclay Hector, ex-registrar. The policy was for £IOOO, and the question at issue is how much of the money appropriated is covered by the policy. The case wa-s not finished when the Court rose.
