WAITARA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Waitara, April 3. The following men of the 15th Reinforcements, who left by the mail train on Monday morning, were given a very hearty send-off at the station:—lnfantry: T. B. Kelly (Waitara), P A, Rooke (Waitara). J. V. Terrill (Waitara), A. W. Brooking (Waitara), W. Berger (Waitara), T. D. Connell (Waitara), .1. B. Perry (Waitara), W Kicks (Onaero). H, R. Whitehead (Tikorangi), A. 0. Whitehead (Tikorangi). J. Bejtrand (Urenui), E. h. Black (Awnkino), M. G. Jury (Awakino), E. Carrington (Awakino), Delvers (Awakino), Bert. Mellar (Waitara). Mounted: W. MeCaul (Sentry Hill). The s.s. Dorset is due here oil the 15th inst., direct from Australia, and will lift 33,000 frozen carcases for West of England ports. Mr. C. Vaughan, who for the past four years has been farming in the Auckland district, has heard "the call," and is enlisting for active service.
