PHILLIPS—On 28th March, 1916, at New Plymouth, Leah Beatrice, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J?. W. Phillips, of Pungarehu, aged 14 months. BYRNES.—On Wednesday, 29th March, at Tauherenikau Military Hospital, Roger Byrnes, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Byrnes, of Kahui Road, Rahotu. Aged 20 years. R.I.P. SOLE—On March 29, at New Plymouth Hospital, Emily Sole, of Okato, and fourth daughter of the late Mr. James Sole, aged 47 years. Private interment.
