THE SUBMARINE TOLL.
■ MORE VESSELS SUNK. TWENTY LOST SINCE MARCH IC. Received March 28, 5.u p.m. " London, March 27. Lloyd's report that the fish hoat Khartoum and the steamers Hebe and Merne have been sunk. It is believed there were nine persons on board the Khartoum and eight oil the Ilebe-drowned. The steamer St. Cecilia has been sunk. The crew were saved. Since the 10th inst., when a German official statement declared, ''Our submarine campaign is in full swing," twenty vessels have been sunk, apart from the Sussex, of which ten were British, two French, two Dutch, four Norwegian and two Danish. LARGE STEAMER SUNK. MOST OF PEOPLE RESCUED. London, March 27. The Atlantic Transport Company's Minneapolis has been sunk. Eleven were killed, but the rest were rescued. (The Minneapolis was a British vessel of 13,543 tons, built in lflOO.) SURVIVORS OF THE CREW. Received March 28, .0.35 p.m. London, March 27. One hundred and sixty-three of the crew of the Minneapolis have landed at Malta.
