Melbourne, March 27. ■A peace meeting was dispersed by soldiers, who conducted a recruiting meeting. SIX O'CLOCK CLOSING CARRIED, Hobart, March 27. Although the returns are incomplete, indications point to the elections resulting in a deadlock, with fifteen members for each party. The liquor referendum resulted in a complete victory for early closing. The figures are incomplete, but the result cannot be altered. ARMY EQUIPMENTS. 1 ' Melbourne, March 27. It is officially stated that at the end of February the quantity of stores and equipment for the Australian army was valued at £5,206,000, including over 2% millions' worth of uniforms and clothing.
