A communique says: We continue to follow up our successes south-cast of A.ugustinbof. After a fierce conflict on fortified ground around Lapuku furious counter-attacks followed. We continue to advance in the Dvinsk and Vidzy regions. The Germans in the latter district are using explosive bullets. Our torpedoers destroyed in sailing vessels on the Anatolian coast. A GERMAN REPORT, Received March 26, 11.45 p.m. Amsterdam, March 28. A German communique says the Russians renewed the attack westward of Jacobstadt, using fresh Siberians, who broke down with heavy losses. GERMANS IN POLAND. STARVING THE PEASANTRY. Received March 20, 5.3 p.m. ,Rome, March 25. The Vatican lias received reports that the Germans are requisitioning all foodstuffs in Poland and are starving the peasantry. They ordered dogs to be killed for food. There have been numerous deaths from starvation, especially among women and children. THE KAISER'S MOVEMENTS. Received March 26, 5.5 p.m. Petrograd, March 25. It is reported that the Kaiser is going to Vilna.
