FOR THE TARANAKI AMBULANCE, ' The popular entertainment provided by the "Fete of Nations" was repeated at the Theatre Royal last night in aid ;< of the Taranaki Ambulance Fund. A > highly entertaining programme was pre* aented, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by a large audience. The takfiiga amounted to £l9 10s, while a patrlotio «oW brought in £6 17s 3d. After the performance the members ot '<■ the company entertained their friends w a very enjoyable social at the Brougharf Street Hall. A large number of peopll were present, and a pleasant hour two was spent in dancing. b ■ |
