A REBELLION AGAINST STEWARDS. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright Adelaide, March 23. At a race meeting at Qnorn a jockey was disqualified. The other jockeys and owners protested a\i refused to start in any of the races until the jockey was reinstated. ■» The stewards resigned, .and the committee altered the panalty to a fine. Far the second day of the Rangitikei meeting, the weather and course were perfect, and there was a good attendance. The totalisator put through | £14,320, against £12„100 on the same day last year.
