EGYPT.
GERMAN ALLEGATIONS. DENIED BY CAPTAIN BEAN. Sydney, March 22. Captain Bean, in a cablegram from Cairo dated March 21, gives a flat denial to tiio amazing statements circulated by the Germans,.apparently with the object of influencing neutrals and Mohammedans, of alleged troubles with Indian troops in Egypt, including a battle between Indians and Australians. He states that the utmost tranquility and loyalty exists amongst both Indians and Egyptians, and adds that, the campaign against the Arabs is practically ended, with disastrous results to the Arabs. The Turco-German expedition against the Canal proved a costly failure.
