APPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 3rd April, 101(5, for the position of Draughting Cadets, Lands and Survey Department. Applications must be made on forms obtainable from the Permanent Head of the Lands and Survey Department, or from this office. Applicants must be not less than lfi years of age, and must have passed either the Public Service Entrance or the Matriculation Examination, and in such examinations have passed in and gained at least 3.1 per cent, of the marks obtainable in Elementary Mathematics. Applicants wil also be required to pass a practical test to ascertain their aptitude for draughting work, and that their eyesight is satisfactory. The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1(112. The position will be graded in the clerical division. GRADING OF TEACHERS. ' QERTIFICATED Teachers as described below, who wish to be included in the Dominion Graded List of Teachers, will require to apply to the Senior Inspector of Schools in the Education District not later than 31st March, 191 fi. (a) Certificated teachers resident in the district who have been in the service of an Education Board, but who do not at present hold a position under an Education Board. (b) Ex-Training College Students not yet in permanent employment as teachers. , (c) Teachers who have passed their certificate examination this year.
