GOLF.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Golf Club was held last night, the club captain (Mr. W. Bewley), presided. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, the chairman said the following members had gone to the front: V. J. Hall, J. R. Cargo, R. H. Baily, S. .T. Crifiiths, N. C. Harding, H. Seldon, S. Burgess, G. W. Deighton, R. H. Quilliam, Dr, Home, H. L. Simpson, C. 11. Weston, C. B. Webster, Dr. Wylie, G. -(ago, G. Pott, and A. McAllum. Several others members including H. Eraser, J. C. Nicholson, and P. E. Stainton, would be going into camp shortly. Mr. ly Bain seconded, and the report and balance-sheet were adopted. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. C. H. Burgess; , vicepresidents. Messrs. D. k. Morrison, E. F. Blnndell, and Dr. Leathfini; captain, Mr. W. P. Nicoll; secretary, Mr. W. H. Wood; treasurer, Mr. J. Paton; committee, Messrs. F. S. Johns, D. K. Morrison, R. T. McQuade, A. Bewley, K. Bain and C. Denny-Brown; auditor, Mr. E. P. Webster; ladies' captain, Mrs. Johns; ladies' secretary, Miss Brewster; ladies' committee, Jfesdames J. Paton, J. Glenn, A. E. Walker, R. H. Quilliam, and Miss Blnndell.
