WAR PENSIONS BOARD.

MORE CLAIMS GRANTED, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the War Pensions Boards meeting last week, sixty-three soldiers claims were examined, and 23 were granted pensions, 30 were given allowances for various terms, eight claims were refused, and two cases were adjourned.

The total number of claims now dealt with is: Soldiers 002, dependents 042, total 1304. There are. accounted for as follows: Of 602 soldiers, 193 have been granted pensions, 291 granted allowances, 01 refused, 19 adjourned, and 90 still in hand. Of claims by dependents, 548 pensions have been granted, six been given allowances, 39 applications refused, six adjourned, and 43 are still in hand.
