INGLEWOOD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) I regret to hear that another ease of infantile paralysis was reported to-day, and on inquiry I find it is quite correct.. The sufTerer is a 4%-year-old boy. Mr. J. C. Rowe'a tender lias been accepted for the new Fire Brigade station. Great preparations are being made for the Tennis and Croquet Club's patriotic tournament, arranged for Thursday next. Splendid entries have been received and the grounds are in excellent order. '
The channelling and kerning along Piata Street West is well under way, and is improving considerably the appearance of this popular residential part of the borough.
The weather still continues very dry. good rains would be much appreciated by farmers and townspeople alike.
