WEST EN T D DEFEATS FITZROY, Tlie wea titer on Saturday afternoon Was most favorable'for bowling, and it bid a decided effect on the play at the West End green when Fitzroy met West End in one »f the Gilmour Cup contests. In spite of the rain which fell during the game play was continued, umbrellas and coats being utilised by the players. During the first half of the match t'itzr»r had the lead, chiefly due to Chi vers' rink, iut West End made a great recovery and eventually defeated their opponents at all of the three rinks by 80 to 54., Details of the scores were as fellow, Fitzr»y being mentioned first at each rink:—.
