THE TABOR SHIELD.
RETAINED BY EAST END. The Tabor Shield competition was decided at Moturoa yesterday afternoon, when the holders (the East End) again won. Th'e only teams competing were those of the West End and the East End, and the competition was very keenly contested. The points were as follows: 1 East West End. End. Reel work fi 6 Reel work in water 30 28 Discipline s 8 Control ..... 9 10 General efficiency, ete S 8 Resuscitation and promotion of warmth 14 lo points 75 75 Tn the try-out for the final points East End won on resuscitation and promotion of warmth. Mr. D. J. Hughes presented the shield, and hearty ohee'.'S were given for the losing team.
