A progressive pairs tournament among the Fitzroy C'lu'bs members commenced yesterday afternoon, and was continued for some time after daylight had merged into moonlight, the consequence geing that the last round was mostly guesswork and should not be counted. The tournament will be continued next Thursday. The following will represent \Voftt End against Fitzroy to-morrow in the Gilmour Cup competition on West End green, commencing at 2 p.m.: Honeyfield, T. Sole, Olliver, Hill (s); 0. Thomson, J. Johnson, Curtis, ,T. D. Role (s); Salt, Brash', Newell, Morrison (s). The Ponsonby bowlers will play at Inglewood this afternoon. They had fioped to lie able, to visit Waitara, but find that they cannot do so. This will, no doubt, be a disappointment to the Waitara players.
