STIRRING UP THE DUST.
To the Editor. Sir,—Does it nat seem strange that the Borough Engineer, in his report, I says: "We have abundance of water and are not likely to he short in the near future." Yet, at a time like this wc find the machine brush en the roads without one drop of water to keep the dust down. If whoever is responsible desires to spread infectious disease among us he is going the right way about it, seeing that the Government recommend spraying the street te keep the dust down. Surely, it should i»e done.—l am, etc., PRECAUTION. Fitzrov, March 15, 1916.
