INFANTILE PARALYSIS
A lad named Stephenson, 12 years oW« son of the lato Mr. Stephenson, of Puniho, was taken to the Hswera Hospital suffering from the dread disease on Friday morning, and died on Sunday. A son of Mr. Fml Mason, headmaster of the Pihama School, has been stricken by the disease. The Pllmma School has been closed, as well as the Oeo School. One fresh case of infantile paralysis was notified to the Hospital Board yesterday morning, the patient being a female child, aged 17 months, . wlwse parents reside in the Eltham district. In addition to those reported another case lias been reported at Patea, tie victim being an infant child.
