DUNEDIN MARKETS. Oats—Good shipping lines are being offered at reduced prices in other Markets, and in sympathy this market shows a corresponding drop in values. Threshing is now becoming general, and consignments are coining forward more freely. Prime milling 3s Id to 3s 2d, good to best feed 2s lid to 3s, inferior to medium 2s 8d to 2s lOd per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat —Millers are now disposed to make offers, and sales can only be effected at prices 3d to 4d per bushel below late rates. Growers generally decline to sell at these prices, preferring to store their wheat, in the hope of the market improving' later in the season. Fowl wheat is in fair demand and realised lip to 5s per bushel, but in view of heavier offerings the present market price may be quoted at 4s 9d to 4s lid per bushel (sweks extra) for good whole wheat. Potatoes—The market is heavily supplied, and in view of the fact that many eonsignmpnts coming forward are not suitable for shipment, values have dedeclined, Prices: Best table potatoes £5 10s to £O, medium £4 10s to £5, others £4 to £4 5a per ton (sacks included). Chaff—There is a fair demand for prime quality, most of . which is readily quitted ex truck. Medium lines are. not in request, and are difficult to deal with. Best oaten sheaf £5 to £6 ss, medium to good £4 10s to £4 las. light and discolored £3 10s to £4 per ton (bags extra).
