All the popular items were given and the ladies entered into their work with marked enthusiasm. During the evening the organiser (Mr. W. Lints) expressed his thanks to the ladies who had worked so' splendidly, and while it was difficult to individualise he wished specially to mention Mrs. Lundius (of Wnnganui), and Miss Leatham, who led the orchestra . He announced that the collection during a patriotic item amounted to about £l4, while the gala of sweets produced £4 18s fld. The takings last night were £54 3s 6d. This brings the approximate total for the season to £2OO, from which expenses approximating £2OO have to be deducted. At tiie close of the performance, Mr. Lints heartily thanked those gentlemen who had rendered such valuable aid during the season. They were Messrs H. Moon (property master), Drury (electrical effects), Martin (stage mechanism), and Holer Bros, and Harrey (are lights and lighting). Requests have been made, and practically agreed to, for the entertainment to be staged at Inglewood, Stratford, and Waitara, and the residents of these towns can look forward to a genuine treat.
