PERMIT NOT YET RECEIVE! Up to last ni<;lit Hie Government permit to run the Xew Plymouth trami had not been received, and consequently the Borough Council was unable to start the temporary service between Fitzroy and the town railway station yesterday. Trial runs were made yesterday, and the trams g»v P complete satisfaction. Everything is in readiness to start th« service, and this will be done immediately after the authority comes to land.
