SMYRNA BOMBED. BY FRENCH AEROPLANE. Received March 5, 5.3 p.m. , 1 Athens, March '4. Seven French aeroplanes fiewj from Salonika to Smyrna and bombed the batteries and returned. ' The double journey occupied 24 hours. One aeroplane foil into the sea, and a British destroyer rescued the machine and occupants.
