TECHNICAL COLLEGE.

CLASSES COMMENCE ON MONDAY. The Technical College evening classes are advertised in this issue to commence on Monday next. A glance at the syllabus of classes will show that .a fine choice of subjects is at the disposal of students. Parents and employers should nete that they are responsible far the registration of young people in their families or in their employ, and parents are icsponsiWe for the attendance of their children. The value of technical education is gradually becoming more patent to the most careless individuals, and the advantages that are thus placed before the young people of New Plymouth should not be lightly treated. The motor engineering class on Monday evenings is designed to be of service to owners and drivers of motor-cars. Last year this class was attended by a number of "entlemeii, who expressed themselves as highly delighted with what they had learnt. Intending students who have not yet' decided on a course of work, should lose no time in consulting the director, who will be, glad, to give any information in his power. This particularly refers to returned wounded soldiers, who are cordially invited to visit the College at any time, in order that they may satisfy themselves as to whether the institution can help them in any wav.
