CUSTOMS DUTIES.
4 LARGE INCREASE. The Customs duties collected at New Plymouth during the past mouth show a considerable increase when compared with those of February last year. The increase in fees is £504 (is, and this is due, to a great extent, to the extra primage duty. The amount collected on beer shows an increase of £sl 18s 7d.
