A wonderful photoplay dramatisation of Edward Seldon's world famed play "The Nigger" lias been secured hy the Universal Film Supply Co. Ltd., of Auckland. This is an elaborate work which is stated to have cost £50,000 to produce, and created an unprecedented sensation throughout the United States. The story commences in the slavery days of the Southern States of U.S.A. and leads up to a dramatic dimax brought about by the discovery by a young State Governor that he has negro blood in his veins. There are several exciting scenes including a negro hunt and a street riot between whites and blacks which the militia are called upon to quell.
