MEMBERS' POSITION UNDER RSU VIEW, By Telegraph,—Press Association'. Auckland, Feb. 28. ; Tn the Arbitration Court, Mr. Routt introduced the subject of Mr." Scott's appointment as employers' representative. He said that while Mr. Scott w*» regarded as a fair and just opponent ot labor, tjie unions were constrained to* draw the attention of the court to tnegations as recorded in Hansard last MM* siou, that the Employers' Federation subsidised Mr. Scott's appointment 'tn, the the Arbitration Court Bench fcy £330 a year, making the appointaUnfc worth £BSO. * His Honor said he could Mt fellow the position of any member of the Wqrt to be discussed. Mr. Scott wai *jp« pointed by. the employers, his appoints ment was gazetted, and it was conefa* sive that he was not disqualified by r«n* son of the position he held as secretary of the Otago Employers' Association. Any question, if there was one, kt to position on the Arbitration Court ,be raised in another court.
