ALIEN SUBJECTS TO BE REMOVED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Steps have been taken to remove all alien enemy subjects from the public service of the Dominion; Technically speaking there might be very few instances, such as in the case of representatives of subject races of Austria, where men (who have been long periods in the Dominion) have been allowed to remain, but in each of these cases the strictest enquiry had been made by the Aliens Board, which is still active in its operations.
