In a football match at Richmond the Aew Zealanders won bv 12 points to the Public Schools' six points The Aew Zealanders were handicapped bv the absence of Private Saunders, the full-back. The schools opened with a try, the first score against the Xew Zealanders since the series began, and ed at the beginning of the second half by two tries' to nil. The visitors developed in brilliancy and wore down then- opponent, and Trooper Fraser and Corporal Burns scored two tries each. VICTORIAN LEAGUE'S PATRIOTISM.
