Butter.—Very firm; Danish, ]G4s to 1158s; the rise is principally due to a fall in the rate of exchange, which is generally attributed to our reduction of exports to Denmark: there is a good inquiry for New Zealand butter, choicest salted selling at 154s to ]sos. unsalted 100s to 1645; Australian is practically cleared; salted 140s to ,148 a, ununited 158s to 160s. Cheese.—Easier; Xew Zealand white, 00s; full colored, OGs. Copper.—Spot £lO6 us, three months £lO3 ss. Tin, £IBO 5s and £lßl. Tig-iron, 90s fid. Lead, £32 and £32 ss.
