WOUNDED SOLDIERS' FUND.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—A great deal of talk has been wasted lately re the "Battle of the Bullion,'' but I see the funeral is over. Now, it is very evident that something will have to be done by Taranaki to augment the funds, so let us all say nothing and just roll in a few cheques. Enclosed you will find a cheque, which I will repeat when the first £IOO is registered at your office. I am presuming that you are prepared to collect any. amounts sent in, and no ap peal need be made at all, but let us all give according to our means and no commissions will be required to be paid out. Thanking you in anticipation.—l am, etc., B. T. BOOKER, Okato, Feb. IS, 1916. [We have pleasure in acknowledging Mr. Booker's cheque for £lO for the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, and shall be glad to receive other donations, which will be promptly forwarded to the right aullu.ities.]
