HIDE, SKIN, WOOL AND TALLOW. L. A. Nolan and Co. report:—On Tuesday, February 8, we held our .sale of the above. We submitted an average catalogue, including 52 bales of wool. All lines were cleared at satisfactory prices, excepting one or two lines of seedy wool, which were hard to place. Wool showed a slight rise, particularly ■in bright, clean lambs' wool. Dingy wools were strong represented, and were 'easier to quit, at slightly better prices, than last month. Hides, owing to the Government's action in preventing export, were easier by roughly Id per lb in most lines, Ketter class heavy cows sold up to within 3d of last month's extreme rates.
