ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Feb. 15. The body of William Hannah was found near his parents' residence at Mercury Bay. Death had evidently been caused by deceased discharging a revolver in his mouth, At the inquest a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned. DETERMINED SUICIDE, Timarit, Feb. 14. An inquest was held to-day into a case of suicide in unusual circumstances.! Mr. George Braeefield, aged 34, living near Pleasant Point, at 8.30 on Sunday morning, while his wife's back wa9 turned in the kitchen, shot himself in the breast wit!) a- pea rifle. The bullet severed some arteries, and he sppn died of internal haemorrhage. His wife fetched a neighbor, and a dootor was sent for, but before the latter arrived the man was dead. He had been drinking. The coroner returned a verdict of suicide wMle temporarily insane.
