Information was received in Haw«m last night that the Hawcra County Council's tar boilers on Turuturu road were on fire, and that the engine and shed had been destroyed. The engin* was quite new, and had been put in only yesterday morning by MeMO Booth, Maedonald and Co. it is e*id that when the fire started an attempt was made to take off the tar, 1 but Wf Whole mass caught.
