FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is Mr. Bates' weather forecast:— Present indications are for east to south-easterly winds increasing strong to gale northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and freshening cast to southerly winds elsewhere. Weather clouding over and rain following generally, heavy in N'orth, where the barometer i< likely soon to fall considerably.
