BLASTING ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, February C. Charles Carlson, while engaged in roadmaking at Te Tnhi, up the Wanganui rive;', was badly injured about the face by a premature explosion of blasting powder, He was brought to th* Wanganui hospital by a launch this afternoon. BOY'S FATAL FALI* Auckland, Yesterday. John Montague Gavin, nine years of age, was killed by a fall off a drainpipe while playing with other boys in a pottery yard. FOUND DROWNED. Auckland, Yesterday. At Grey Lynn, the body of an elderly man was found in the harbor. He had probably been dead ten hours. Deceased was fully dressed, and his collar bore the letters "Collier " There was no other evidence of identification.
