SNTERNED ALIEN? REPLY TO ALLEGATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Yesterday. Replying to allegations as to favoritism to certain interned aliens, Mr. Allen says: "It is true that Lieutenant Flohr was an adjutant in Tauherenikau Camp for a time. I stated in .the House last session that he was not a German; I have to-day no reason to think he is a German. His case has been before the Aliens Board, and the board says he is not a man to be interned. He was in the British army as an officer, but, he is not going away with our forces. That is not on -account of his nationality. T.anggutli was a territorial officer, hut lie has not been accepted, and will not be accepted, as an officer in the Zealand Expeditionary Forces. "The statement that wealthy Germans have been allowed to go away is enlively untrue. Certain German officials who were sent from Samoa to Somes IpIsuul were returned to Motuihi because (lie climate there was more suitable for them "
