A BELGIAN'S APPEAL.
Mr. I'.ditor.—As a Belgian prisoner of war, I am taking the liberty to send you n. little request. I was 'collecting postage stamps in Belgium, and my son, too. Having much time to spend here in eamj), I would like to make again a collection, and I should lie really happy if you would be ,so kind as to publish the fact that I, a Belgian soldier prisoner of war, will send a keepsake in exchange for some nice, postage stamps for collection, sent registered, to "F. Baudson, 12p de Ligue, Camp IT., Heist", Hollande." The N cw York Times and the New York Herald have published this letter. I got many stamps from U.S.A.
