LONDON MARKETS. By Ca?jle.—Press Association—Cepyright London, February 3. Wool.—Good merinos very firm, faultier rather better tone, crossbreda firm and unchanged. Tins.—Stocks 7,46S tons, spot 1105 tons, afloat 2129 tons, deliveries 1434 tons. Tallow.—At tlie sale 242 casks were offered, but buyers refused to bid. Difficulty in obtaining licenses prevents middlemen exporting what they previously purchased. Soapmakors are holding off, hopiug for a reduction in prices. Wheat.— Finn; occasianaily fid dearer. Nelson Bros, paii a final dividend of 4 per cent., with a banns of 2 per cent, added, free of income tax. Twenty-five thousand was added to the reserve fund and £23,000 brought forward.

ADDINGTOX. At the Addin gton market there were small entries in abnost all departments. Fat cattle were rather easier, fat lambs were firm, store sheep sold better, while fat sheep showed an advance of 2s per head. Store cattle were easier. Store sheep—Two-tooth ewes 26s 6d, sound-meuthed ewes 32s Cd to 14s 2d, failing-mouthed owes 8s 3d to 13s Sd, four, six and eight-tooth owes (Chathams) 18s Id to 16s lOd, forward four and six-tooth wethers 153 to 17s, other two-tooth wethers 12s fid to 14s 3d, forward lambs 13s Sd to IDs, ordinary lambs lis to 13s 6(1, inferior lambs 7s 3d to 10s 9d, cull lambs 2b Id to lis. Fat lambs—23B3 were penned. Prime lambs 20s Gd to 23s 3d, medium 17s Od to 20s, lighter 14s 4d to 17s. Fat sheep—Prime wethers 23s to 20s, others 17s Id to 22s Cd, prime ewes 22s (id to 20s 3d, medium 17s lid to 225. lighter 12s to 17s, merino wethers 17s Id. Fat cattle —Extra prime steers to £2O ss, ordinary steers £0 103 to £ll 17's Od, extra prime heifers to £ll 15s, ordinary heifers £0 ,W to £8 ss, extra prime cows to £l4 ss, ordinary cows £5 10s to £S ss. Price of beef per 1001b, 29s to 455; extra to 50s. Pigs—Choppers 403 to 70s, extra heavy baconers to 90s, heavy baconers 70s to 82s, light baconers 57s 6d to OSs. Price per lb, (id to od. Heavy porkers 42s to 475, light porkers 35s to 40s. Price per lb C</ 2 d to 7d. Stores: Medium 22s to 275, small Ids to 21s, wcancrs 4s 3d to Ss.
BURNSIDE. At Burnsidc pricos were slightly easier than last week. Prime bullocks £l6 to £IS, medium to good £l2 10s to £ls, light and inferior £lO to £ll ss, prime cows and heifers £l2 os to £l4, medium to good £lO to £ll 10u, light and inferior £8 to £i) 15s.
Fat sheep—2o7o were penned, principally medium to good ewes, 'tlio proportion of prime sheep being larger than of late, . Export buyer.k were operating freely for all freezing weights, and last week's prices were well maintained. Extra prime wethers to 335, medium to good 23s to 2(!s, inferior alid light 185 to 20s, unfinished 7s Gd to 13s, cStra prime ewes to 27s fid, medium to good 20.3 t© 245, light les to ISs, us&nishcd V 3 Gd to 13«.
Fat lambs—There was a medium entry, 810 being penned. Tlu* qualify on tile whole was good, and for good sorts competition was keen, freezing buyers operating for this description, but unfinished sorts were lmrd to quit. Extra prime to 28s fid, good 21s to 23s fid. medium ISs to 19s Od, light and inferior to IBs.
