RECRUITING. Received Feb. 4. 11.50 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 4. The boom that has recently characterised recruiting is easing considerably. AN IMPORTANT TEST CASE. Melbourne, Feb. 4. The Federal Attorney-General has decided that the Tasmanian Soldiers Liquor Restriction Bill is legal. The decision recognises the power of State Parliaments to forbid serving soldiers with liquor. This is important, because of the possibility of a wider application than to only Tasmania.
