THE SCHEME TO GO ON. THREE NEW PLYMOUTH ARMIES. The Battle of the Bullion scheme will be gone on with. A meeting of thoso interested was held last night, when there were present: Messrs .T. E. Wilson, D. J. Hughes, L. A. Nolan, W. J. Chaney, C. Carter, 0. X. Firth, J. McLeod, J. Clarke, J. Elliott, W. Roch, C. Sadler, J. R. Hill, Captain Allen, and Mr. W. Lints (organiser). Mr. Wilson was voted to the chair. Mr. McLeod explained the scheme to the meeting at length. It was decided that the scheme of the Battle -of the Bullion -be gone on with, and that three armies be entered as follows: Bombardiers.—Fanners, auctioneers, motorists, and dairy'factories. Fusiliers.—Warehousemen, factories, and professional. Grenadiers.—Civil. Service, railways, sports, general workers. It was decided that a meeting of representatives of the armie3 should be held on Monday, at 8 p.m., in the Town Hall. It was resolved not to hold a Paddy's Market in connection with the Fete of Nations.
