Last year the Royal Agricultural Show was abandoned owing to the ground being needed for military purposes, but it is intended to hold it this year. GUARDING PUBLIC HEALTH. Melbourne, Feb, 4. The Government has prohibited the importation of homeopathic medicine manufactured at Bologna, ojj the grounds of public health. BROKEN HILL STRIKE. Sydney, Feb. 4. A meeting of the Labor Council attempted to debate a motion endorsing tho action of the Broken Hill strikers. Speakers were interrupted and booted and the meeting was adjourned in disorder. The Liquor Trades Union and the Amalgamated Railway and Tramway Associations voted funds to assist the Broken Hill strikers.
