HIGH PRICES AT DUNEDIJJ By Telegraph.—Press Association. ( Dunedin, Last Night. ' The second wool sale of the season commenced to-day. The total offerings were 24,777 bales, compared.with 23,018 bales at the corresponding sale last year. The buyers' benches were well filled, and competition was exceptionally keen for practically every lot offered, except earthy and very warty wools. Ifc i s expected that all overseas wool purchased at this sale will bo got away before the end of next month. .Buyers have decided to postpone the northern sales till they can «ee shipping space available for all purchases in Dunedin.
