London, January 24, 11.30 p.m. The High Commissioner reports:— A German seaplane passed over Dover t*day. It was engaged by all our antiaircraft guns and was pursued by. two British machines. In France last night we exploded a mine near Saint Eloi, damaging the cn- ■ emy trenches considerably. We carried out a successful bombardment of en- '•■ emy trenches northward of Armenbieres, and the damage was considerable. . In Egypt, on Sunday, General Wallace'* column attacked a Senussi camp, dispersing the enemy and burning the tamp.
