CARNIVAL WEEK PROPOSED, There was a largo attendance at the public meeting at Waitara last night, the Mayor (Mr. E. Beckbcssingor). presiding. Mr. Lints gave details of the Battle of the Bullion, and the mooting was very enthusiastic. All present. ii° eluding delegates from Urenui, Okoke, Sentry Hill, Huirangi, Tikorangi, and Druti, formed themselves into a committee to raise funds for the Waitara army. It is proposed to run a big Carnival Week.
