LAUNDRV-WORKER'S' CLAIMS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Jan. 10. The laundry-workers' dispute was liefor the Conciliation Council to-day, women appearing for the first time as assessors. The union asked for n 41-hour week with overtime, the employers counting the 44 hours and overtime in accordance with Ihe Factories Act. - The union also asked for increased wages, which the employers objected to. Exemption was granted to the Salvation Army, St. Mary's Home, and the Wellington Hospital. The claims and coun-ter-claims were cons : dered in committee and adjourned.
